Turkey: US and British forces have launched attacks on the positions of Houthi rebels in Yemen, drawing reactions from all over the world. In this series, now Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has condemned the attacks by America and Britain on the positions of Houthi rebels in Yemen.
According to the Times of Israel report, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan accused both countries of wanting to turn the Red Sea into a ‘sea of blood’. Even before, NATO member Turkey has repeatedly targeted Israel regarding the Gaza war. Apart from this, he has many times criticized western countries for supporting Israel. In his latest statement, Erdoğan said that the air and sea attacks on Yemen by America and Britain are not proportionate. That is, he described the Houthi rebels as very small compared to Britain and America.
Attempt to turn the Red Sea into a sea of blood
According to the report, Erdoğan said in Istanbul on Friday that what has been done is a disproportionate use of force. He further said that at present he is trying to turn the Red Sea into a sea of blood. During this, the Turkish President also targeted Israel and said that it is also doing the same in Palestine.
Israel also targeted
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that according to the information we have received from various sources, the Houthi rebels have mounted a very successful defense and have given appropriate responses against both the US and Britain. He has also reacted to South Africa’s ‘genocide’ case against Israel in the International Court of Justice.
He said that the court has also acknowledged that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has no place to hide. Before this, America has made its intentions clear. The US has said that if the Houthis continue to target ships in the Red Sea, more attacks will be carried out in Yemen.
