US Houthi Strikes: Attacks by US and UK forces on the positions of Houthi rebels in Yemen are continuing. Meanwhile, an official of the Houthi rebels has made fun of America. Houthi rebel officials have said that American attacks on Yemen have not had any significant impact.
After the latest attack on a military base in Sanaa, Mohammed Abdussalam told Reuters news agency that the Houthis would continue to block Israeli-linked ships from passing through the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea. An official with Ansarullah, another Yemeni Houthi group, told Al Jazeera that no one was injured in the attack and the group vowed a strong and effective response.
Attacks continue on Houthi rebel positions
It is noteworthy that on Saturday (January 13) morning, the US Army once again bombed the positions of Houthi rebels in Yemen. A day before this, on Friday, America, along with the British Army, had carried out massive air strikes against the Houthi rebels. After which an official of the Houthi rebels warned America and Britain that they would have to pay a heavy price for this aggression.
Houthis warned America
Regarding the attacks on the positions of Houthi rebels, US President Joe Biden had said that if the attacks on merchant ships in the Arabian Sea do not stop, then American action will continue. On the other hand, on American warning, Houthis say that they will still continue to target ships in the Red Sea.
White House spokesperson John Kirby said regarding the attack on Houthi rebel positions that the American-British attack has reduced the ability of Houthi rebels to launch new attacks. 60 targets have been targeted at 28 locations in Yemen.
