Indian Team Returns From Barbados: India defeated South Africa in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024. After which India was successful in winning the T20 World Cup trophy twice. The final match of this season’s tournament was played on 29 June at Kensington Oval Stadium in Barbados. After which the Indian team had to return to India with the trophy. But the Beryl storm in Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados, has imprisoned Team India in the hotel. Due to which Team India has not been able to come to India yet. But the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released a video and given a good news to the Indians.
BCCI gave a hint to Indians
After winning the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy, the countrymen are eagerly waiting for Team India and the T20 World Cup trophy. But now it is going to come to India soon. This is indicated by a video of BCCI. BCCI has posted a video on its social media platform. Which has a video of the T20 World Trophy. The caption of this post reads – “It is coming home.”

When will the Indian team return home?
The team was supposed to meet the Prime Minister after reaching New Delhi, but due to the storm, the players were stranded in Barbados for the last two days. Their return was getting delayed due to the airport being closed. The BCCI managers are bringing the Indian team home by arranging a chartered flight.
According to the latest news, the Indian team will leave Barbados at 6 pm on Tuesday (local time) i.e. around 3:30 am on Wednesday in India. The team is expected to reach New Delhi by 7:45 pm on Wednesday, July 3.
