Himachal Pradesh News: There is good news for those seeking government jobs in Himachal Pradesh. In fact, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has said that the Congress government has released more than 28 thousand government jobs in its one and a half year tenure. Their recruitment process has started.
According to CM Sukhu, these recruitments include 5 thousand 291 posts of teachers in the education department, ten thousand posts in different categories in the water power department, 2 thousand 061 posts of forest friends in the forest department, 1 thousand 450 posts in different categories in the health department, 874 posts of Patwaris and 1 thousand 226 posts of police constables.
CM Sukhu targets BJP
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that there has been a big decline in the field of education during the last five years of BJP’s tenure. In terms of quality education, Himachal Pradesh has reached 18th place in the country. He said that the Congress government is working to improve the level of education in the state.
He said that work is being done towards increasing the basic facilities in the government schools of the state. To provide better education to the students in the rural areas, the state government is opening Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding School in a phased manner, where special attention will be given to the all-round development of the students.
‘NTT Recruitment for 6 thousand 297 posts’
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur had announced only 20 thousand jobs in the government sector during his five-year tenure. Most of these also got stuck in legal complications. He said that the Congress government has given 30 percent reservation to women in police recruitment and has given one year relaxation in the maximum age to all the candidates.
He said that in the cabinet meeting of Himachal Pradesh, the green signal has been given to the recruitment of 6,297 early care and education tutors to start a comprehensive early childhood care and education program under the National Education Policy- 2020. More jobs will be released in the government sector in the coming time. Special care is being taken of transparency along with merit in the recruitments.
