New Delhi: Actor Kartik Aaryan’s 2011 debut film ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ proved to be a turning point in his early career. In a recent interview with Mashable Mehfil, Kartik Aaryan revealed how he skipped his engineering exams to audition for Luv Ranjan’s ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’. He decided to give the audition even though he had an exam on the same day. This bold decision led to his big break in Bollywood.
Kartik Aaryan said, “I think luck is needed. You have to be at the right place at the right time. There is some luck. For example, in ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, I had to audition for a film for the first time. I had an exam in college that day. I couldn’t attend it.”
The ‘Chandu Champion’ actor said, “I don’t know if I hadn’t missed it, I wouldn’t be here today. So, now I won’t suggest you guys to do something like this, but that’s what happened to me at that time. Because film auditions are not easily available, so for me it was like I was getting an opportunity.”
Karthik said to himself, “Think I am leaving the exam today. I will get ATKT. But I will manage it. I will do something but it is necessary to give this audition exam.,
Kartil said, “I don’t know if anything happened or not, I opted for that audition. Maybe on another day, I would have thought I wouldn’t have travelled so much, I would have directly gone to college, given my exams and focused on that. But it happens and that’s how ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ happened.”
“So, these are the little things that sometimes turn out to be important. Sometimes, it is a matter of timing, sometimes it is a matter of destiny. But then, you have to work hard for it. When all these things come together, things happen,” he concluded.
In the same interview, the actor revealed that he was famous for ‘ATKT’ in his college as he used to remain absent in most of the exams.
Kartik Aaryan’s last film is ‘Chandu Champion’
Kartik Aaryan recently appeared in the biographical sports movie ‘Chandu Champion’. Kabir Khan wrote and directed the biopic of India’s first Paralympic gold medalist Muralikant Petkar.
