Bajaj Auto today (July 5) launched the world’s first CNG motorcycle Freedom. The Indian two-wheeler giant has launched this CNG bike in three variants, with a starting price of Rs 1,999. ₹ 95,000 (ex-showroom) Union Minister Nitin Gadkari unveiled the Freedom CNG bike along with Bajaj Auto Managing Director Rajiv Bajaj during an event held in Mumbai. During his address, Gadkari praised the two-wheeler manufacturer for bringing the world’s first CNG-powered motorcycle. He also praised the Bajaj team for the design and quality of the Freedom CNG bike.
Bajaj Freedom CNG Bike: Key Features
Bajaj Freedom CNG Bikes Comes with dual fuel tank technology. The motorcycle has a 2-litre petrol tank and a CNG tank that can hold 2 kg of gas at the same time. It appears smaller than the standard fuel tank used in motorcycles. Bajaj said that Freedom CNG bike owners will be able to seamlessly switch between both fuel modes. The two-wheeler manufacturer claims that the Freedom CNG bike can deliver an efficiency of up to 102 km/kg in CNG mode, while the petrol mode should deliver a mileage of 64 km/l.

Nitin Gadkari praises R&D team Bajaj The auto will come up with a motorcycle that will be environment friendly and will also save costs. Speaking at the event, the minister said that it is his mission to reduce air pollution in the country. He also urged Rajiv Bajaj to replace the petrol tank with ethanol to make it a more environment-friendly motorcycle. Gadkari said, “I will request Bajaj to make it a 2-litre ethanol pump. Petrol price The price of CNG is Rs 100 per liter. 60. Petrol also causes a lot of pollution.”

Gadkari also praised the design and quality of the Freedom CNG bike. “It is really a beautiful design,” he said. “I still can’t figure out where the cylinder is. It will be difficult for anyone to find it, even if you challenge someone,” he added.

The minister also said that he expects the Freedom CNG bike to become popular not only in India but across the world. He said that he is confident that Bajaj will get a bigger market for the Freedom CNG bike than the petrol bike because of its lower cost.
