The DesertX Discovery is priced at 21.75 lakh ex-showroom while standard Version Cost Its price is Rs 18.33 lakh ex-showroom. Rally DesertX variant that retails at ₹ 23.70 lakh ex-showroom.
In terms of cosmetic changes, the DesertX Discovery features a new unique colour scheme of Black and Ducati Red with new decals. The decals are there because they are easy to replace in case the motorcycle falls off. Ducati says that the DesertX Discovery has been designed to be more versatile and with accessories. This means that the motorcycle comes with a number of options right from the factory.
Ducati DesertX Discovery: What’s different
There is a touring windscreen that reduces wind gusts while touring thereby reducing rider fatigue. The Discovery variant also gets turn-by-turn navigation which is valid for five years. After that, the customer has to renew it through Ducati.

The water pump and fuel tank are enclosed by bull bars to protect them in case the motorcycle falls. Additionally, the Ducati Discovery variant comes with a bash plate to protect the engine from damage. In addition, a radiator guard is also included to protect it from debris while off-roading. Lastly, the center stand serves as a convenient tool to park the motorcycle safely and fix punctures if needed.
The motorcycle is designed for touring, so it is equipped with an aluminum case and subframe. Additionally, it features heated grips, which is useful for riding in winter.

DesertX The Discovery is powered by a 937 cc Testastretta engine that produces a maximum power of 108 bhp at 9,250 rpm and a peak torque of 92 Nm at 6,500 rpm. This engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with Ducati Quick Shift, which enables quick up and downshifts with a slipper clutch. The service interval is set at 15,000 km or 24 months, whichever is earlier.
